Alexia Piaget Gremaud

Raised in a watchmaking family in La Côte-aux-Fées, Alexia’s always been passionate about the fascinating world of jewellery.
In 2003, she graduated from the Ecole d’Arts Appliqués of La Chaux-de-Fonds and started her professional career in Geneva. There, she’s worked for the greatest names in Haute jewellery. At the same time, she’s created pieces for individuals clients.
For a number of years, Alexia’s perfected her art with masters. Thus, influences, architecture and ethnic specificities have inspired her while travelling abroad.
In the last few years, Alexia also had the opportunity to restore antic and art pieces on demand of well-known trademarks. These projects have encouraged her to develop her skills in this fascinating universe coming down through the ages.
In 2011, Alexia took up a new challenge and created Alexia Karen.
She designs and realises unique pieces and clients are invited to take part in the elaboration process.
Alexia’s experience in project management enables her to create, transfom and restore pieces in almost any way possible.
It usually takes a number of enthusiast craftsmen to make one piece. Thus, wildest dreams can be fulfilled as craft industry, technic and art are brought together. This approach enhances traditional craftmanship and maintains a human reality as opposed to international and mass retailers.
Alexia’s work is also a way of expressing her own values and convictions, adding more character to her creations.
Alexia meets clients in Geneva, but also in the French speaking part of Switzerland, mainly on the Lemanic area. She privileges private customers but sh’e also open to carry out projects for enterprises.
Alexia Karen made possible thanks to a lifelong passion.
